Hours: Full-time (term-time)

Pay: £168 – £232 per day

Are you an energetic and enthusiastic PE Teacher looking for your next opportunity?
Do you have the passion to inspire students and promote a love for physical education?

We are seeking a motivated PE Teacher to join a secondary school in the Portsmouth area. This is a long-term role starting ASAP until the end of the academic year, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will play a key role in encouraging participation, teamwork and a positive attitude towards health and fitness, helping students to develop both physically and personally.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Encouraging participation in a variety of sports and activities
• Promoting teamwork, resilience and healthy lifestyles
• Managing behaviour effectively within practical lessons
• Monitoring student progress and engagement
• Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Contributing to extracurricular sport where appropriate

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
• Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
• A proactive, enthusiastic and flexible approach
• Commitment to student wellbeing and development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
