The Role – My client is actively seeking to onboard a skilled Salesforce Developer to contribute to their Business As Usual (BAU) operations, the organization in question, are currently facing a substantial backlog of tasks that require attention and resolution. You will play a crucial role in efficiently addressing and clearing this backlog, ensuring the smooth functioning of ongoing business processes. In addition to the BAU responsibilities, the Salesforce Developer will be actively involved in two significant initiatives spearheaded by the Executive team.

Skill and Experience –

Salesforce Experience:

Prospective candidates should possess a robust background in Salesforce development. This includes a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization. Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce administration is essential. The ability to leverage Salesforce to optimize business processes and workflows is a key aspect of this requirement.

Integration Experience:

Candidates are expected to have hands-on experience in integrating diverse systems and applications. This involves connecting Salesforce with other platforms to ensure seamless data flow and communication. Proficiency in middleware solutions, API integration, and data synchronization is crucial. Successful candidates should be adept at designing and implementing efficient and reliable integration solutions.

API Experience:

A strong foundation in working with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) is a prerequisite. Candidates should be capable of not only consuming APIs but also developing and exposing them. Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs, as well as experience with authentication mechanisms, is essential. The ability to troubleshoot API-related issues and optimize API performance is highly desirable.

Web and Mobile Experience:

Candidates should have a versatile skill set that extends to both web and mobile development within the Salesforce ecosystem. Proficiency in developing responsive and user-friendly interfaces for web applications is necessary. Additionally, experience in creating mobile solutions using Salesforce Mobile SDK or other relevant frameworks is advantageous. An understanding of best practices in mobile application development, including user experience (UX) design, is an asset.
