Cloud Lead –  (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP)

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Lead with deep expertise as a Kubernetes SME, and hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP. This role will play a critical part in leading the next phase of our global cloud transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead and SME for cloud networking, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms

• Lead cloud architecture and transformation initiatives across a global business

• Design, validate, and govern cloud-native and hybrid architectures

• Provide hands-on technical leadership while vetting solutions and designs

• Lead and influence senior technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Drive best practices in security, scalability, resilience, and cost optimisation

• Support and mentor engineering teams, setting technical direction and standards

• Collaborate with product, operations, and leadership to align cloud strategy with business goals

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Cloud Lead / Principal / Architect

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes (design, operations, scaling)

• Deep understanding of ASN and cloud networking

• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP

• Experience delivering large-scale cloud transformation programmes

• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills

• Ability to bridge technical depth and business strategy

• Experience working in hybrid cloud environments

Working Model

• Hybrid working: Weekly on-site presence

• Location: West Midlands
