My client is seeking C++ Software Engineer to support the development and delivery of warehouse management and control solutions within a large engineering team.

The role focuses on enhancing and maintaining software used across stock control, logistics operations, container movement, and industrial interface integrations within automated warehouse environments.

Overview:
Develop and test software for warehouse management and control systems based on the clients warehouse system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software according to project documentation, adhering to SOLID principles and company coding standards.
• Perform unit testing to confirm software meets design specifications, including screen layouts and behaviour.
• Deliver software on time or provide early feedback if timelines are not achievable.
• Apply experience to suggest improvements to designs via the agreed change control process.
• Report software faults using Jira and support core package maintenance.
• Assist with software builds, deployments, and early-life client support.
• Use company-provided development tools and systems effectively.

Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in C/C++ and Java.
• Competent in Linux/Unix environments; able to write shell scripts.
• 0.5 – 3 years of professional programming experience.
• Familiar with coding standards.
