DRA Global is looking for an organised and reliable HSE Clerk to join our project team near Sadiola, Mali.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, documentation and people, and who can provide strong administrative support to a busy project HSE team.

What we’re looking for

  • Malian citizenship is required for this position
  • Relevant certificate, diploma or qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Administration or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in an HSE administrative or project support role, preferably within mining, construction, engineering or EPCM environments
  • Previous construction or mining project experience in Mali would be advantageous
  • Basic understanding of occupational health, safety and environmental requirements in a project environment
  • Experience maintaining HSE files, registers and records
  • Experience capturing HSE statistics and performance data
  • Experience maintaining training, induction and competency records
  • Experience tracking incidents, inspections, observations and corrective actions
  • Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English and applicable local languages
  • Willing and able to work at the project site near Sadiola according to the applicable project rotation/work schedule

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the project HSE filing and document control system
  • Capture and maintain HSE statistics, performance data and project records
  • Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports and supporting information
  • Maintain HSE induction, training, incident, inspection, corrective-action and audit registers
  • Monitor outstanding HSE actions and assist with follow-up and close-out
  • Maintain employee and contractor HSE documentation
  • Assist with HSE meetings, agendas, presentations, attendance registers and minutes
  • Support incident-reporting administration and investigation records
  • Assist with mobilisation and onboarding documentation
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the HSE team
  • Ensure HSE records remain accurate, current and readily available for audit and assurance purposes

We’re particularly interested in someone who is well organised, accurate and dependable, and who is comfortable working with data and documentation while communicating effectively with employees, contractors, supervisors and project management.
