Financial Accountant

Salary of £70,000 - £75,000 + Hybrid Working

We are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an accomplished Group Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to work closely with the CFO and senior leadership, contributing to the delivery of accurate financial reporting and the implementation of strong controls and processes across the Group.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in statutory reporting, budgeting, cashflow management, and post-acquisition integration, while also helping to shape and embed best practice methods. In addition, you will provide leadership and guidance to junior members of the finance function, supporting both their development and the ongoing growth of the business.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead statutory reporting, audit preparation, and compliance.
• Oversee group consolidation, monthly accounts, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
• Ensure compliance in tax, payroll, pensions, and treasury.
• Lead and develop finance team members.
• Support M&A and post-acquisition integration.
  
  

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting and consolidation expertise.
  Proven audit preparation experience with external auditors.
• Excellent cashflow management skills.
• Exposure to multi-site group environments; M&A experience a plus
  
  

LOCATION

This is a hybrid working role based in Crawley - Commutable from nearby locations such as Gatwick, Brighton and Horsham.
