Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Bradford Area)

SCHOOL HOURS | Full-Time & Part-Time | Temporary Supply

Choice Teachers are currently working in partnership with multiple secondary schools across the Bradford area who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join them on a full-time or part-time or temporary supply basis.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of the regular class teacher. You will:

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged

• Support pupils across a range of subjects

• Promote a positive and focused learning environment

Ideal Candidates Will:

• Be confident managing a classroom and engaging with students

• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills

• Have a passion for working with young people and supporting their development

• Be adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to last-minute cover needs

• Be able to work independently and follow lesson plans

Requirements:

• Educated to A-Level or Degree level (desirable)

• An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)

• Teaching or education-related background

• Two professional references

• Right to work in the UK

• A complete CV covering the last 10 years, IT MUST SHOW THE FULL 10 YEARS WITHOUT ANY GAPS (IF THERE IS A GAP FOR LONGER THAN 3 MONTHS PLEASE STATE WHY)
