Are you a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician looking to inspire the next generation of automotive professionals? Choice Teachers is currently recruiting a Full-Time Motor Vehicle Lecturer for a leading further education college in Luton.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across a range of Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualifications (Levels 1 to 3), both practical and theoretical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and assess Motor Vehicle courses to students aged 16+

• Create engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards

• Provide constructive feedback and track learner progress

• Maintain a safe, well-equipped workshop environment

• Support students in developing real-world technical and employability skills

• Contribute to curriculum planning and course development

Requirements:

• Recognised Motor Vehicle qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one

• Previous experience teaching or training desirable but not essential

• Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repair

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
