KS2 Primary School Teacher – Fixed-Term (1 Year) – September Start – Croydon

Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking to make a real impact in the classroom? Choice Teachers is proud to be working on behalf of one of our valued client schools in Croydon, seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

This is a fixed-term contract for one academic year, with the school looking to pay to scale (MPS/UPS) based on experience and qualifications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and Inspire: Plan and deliver engaging literacy and numeracy lessons tailored to the needs of Key Stage 2 pupils.

  • Foster a Positive Environment: Create an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom that promotes pupil well-being.

  • Drive Achievement: Encourage academic growth and motivate students to reach their full potential.

  • Collaborate Effectively: Work with staff, parents, and carers to ensure every child is supported.

  • Track Progress: Assess and monitor pupil development, providing feedback and adapting teaching as needed.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher: Hold QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification.

  • Experienced: Recent experience teaching in a UK Key Stage 2 setting.

  • DBS Checked: Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).

  • Right to Work: You must be eligible to work in the UK.

  • Excellent Communicator: Able to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families.

  • Dedicated: Passionate about education and committed to student success.
