COVER SUPERVISOR

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school in Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or experienced education professionals who are passionate about supporting students' learning.

 The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure classroom behaviour is managed effectively

• Support students in staying on task and engaging with learning

• Provide feedback to teaching staff after lessons

 What We’re Looking For:

• Strong classroom presence and confidence managing behaviour

• Experience working with young people (in schools, youth groups, sports coaching, tutoring etc.)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
