We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Bedford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Key Stage 3 students (Years 7-9) in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

  • Position: Mathematics Teacher - Key Stage 3 Focus
  • Contract: 4 days per week (0.6 FTE)
  • Students: Years 7, 8, and 9 (Ages 11-14)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students' mathematical confidence and problem-solving skills

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 mathematics (or willingness to develop)
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Commitment to high standards and student achievement
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
