Location: Rural school near Cambridge
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

A highly regarded secondary school just outside Cambridge is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their thriving humanities department from September 2025.

About the Role

• Permanent, full-time teaching position starting September 2025

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with some flexibility to support additional humanities subjects as needed

• Inspire students to develop a passion for Geography and the world around them

• Participate actively in school life, including extracurricular activities and trips

• Be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking department

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)

• Have at least 2 years of secondary school teaching experience

• Possess strong subject knowledge in Geography and a willingness to support wider humanities teaching

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and a commitment to student progress

• Be a driver due to the school’s rural location (preferred but not essential)

• Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service
