About the Role

  • Permanent, full-time teaching position starting September 2025

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (potential for A-Level teaching for suitable candidates)

  • Inspire students to develop a love of science and achieve their best

  • Work collaboratively within a strong and dynamic science team

  • Contribute to extracurricular science activities and whole-school initiatives


The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are encouraged to apply)

  • Have a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject

  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and effective classroom management

  • Be committed to student progress and enthusiastic about teaching and learning

  • Possess or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service
