Maths Teacher – Peterborough

Are you a passionate and skilled Maths Teacher seeking a new opportunity this September? Our partner secondary school in Peterborough is looking for a dedicated educator to join their vibrant mathematics department.

About the Role

  • Permanent, full-time teaching position starting September 2025

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Inspire students to develop strong numeracy skills and a love for Mathematics

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives

  • Participate actively in school life, including extracurricular activities where appropriate


The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs also considered)

  • Possess a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject

  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills

  • Be passionate about supporting student achievement and progress

  • Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service
