Claims Adjuster Hybrid role, London Office - Multiclass Claims

Our UK Claims Management "Delegated Lead" team provides a London based delegated claims service. The scope of the service includes multiple classes of business comprising of both Standard and Complex claims where the client acts as a Claims Agreement Party. We currently provide this service to 12 Lloyd’s Managing Agencies and handle approximately 5,000 transactions per month, with stringent SLAs. This role will give you the opportunity to adjust claims across multiple clients and regions. Ours is a close knit team made up of experts with many years experience - a great opportunity to learn, develop and grow as a specialist London Market Claims Adjuster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and adjusting claims from first notification to settlement within pre-authorised authority limits
  • Claims adjusting on behalf of current and future clients
  • Provision of technical support for the adjusting of various COB claims
  • Ensuring each client’s claim service standards are maintained or enhanced
  • Managing and enhancing client relationships
  • Monitoring performance against contract SLAs and KPIs
  • Delivering and presenting reports to clients on specific claims issues
  • Mentoring and training less experienced members of the team
  • Post adjustment peer review of to ensure technical standards and requirements are adhered to
  • Appointing experts and legal counsel where deemed appropriate

Required Skills

  • Extensive London Market experience adjusting claims across various COB
  • Proven track record of adjusting a combination of multiple classes of business
  • Experience in handling Claims in accordance with the Lloyd’s Claims Scheme
  • Proven experience in respect of the London Market process including Broker CLASS @ Lloyd’s and ECF Systems
  • Extensive knowledge of the current Lloyd’s Claims Scheme including CTP Guidelines
  • Widespread relationships with Brokers/Adjusters/Lawyers/Attorneys as appropriate in the relevant class of business
  • Able to work across multiple stringent client SLAs.
  • Display excellent inter-personal and communication skills in order to interact well within team and with clients and Brokers
  • Able to prioritise work, have good time management skills and able to adapt to the changing demands of the role
