Expertise you can trust - for more information, please visit www.charlestaylor.com The RoleOur Hong Kong construction and engineering team has extensive knowledge of construction and engineering policies written by the Hong Kong and International markets and the requisite skills to settle construction and engineering claims quickly and amicably. A loss adjuster will receive claims details and instructions from our clients (Insurers/reinsurers/brokers), followed by site inspections to gather necessary information on the loss/damage/remedial works, agree an action plan with the client and provide guidance on the policy coverage to the claim, and reporting to our clients on the details of the claim. You will be providing direct support to contractors / subcontractors / third party claimants etc. moving them through the various stages of the claim. This will involve the collating and analysis of claim supporting documents to validate the remedial works / costs and provide settlement proposals in accordance with the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.
