The Role

The role of a Loss Adjuster involves desk-based and on-site investigation, evaluation, and management insurance claims. The role will require you to provide an efficient and high-quality liability claims handling service for various insurers. The role will be providing direct support to policy holders whilst reporting to their Insurers in respect to the claim investigation findings.

Key Responsibilities

  • To conduct surveys and inspections of power plant damage across various industries in order to determine the nature, circumstances, and extent of the damage sustained.
  • To prepare concise, comprehensive reports in a timely manner, adhering to the guidelines set out by the company.
  • To be available for surveys outside regular working hours, including weekends and public holidays as and when required.
  • Developing working relationships with existing Clients.
  • Assisting in the preparation and delivery of presentations and tenders to Clients and potential Clients.
  • Carry out Ad Hoc duties and tasks that are allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.

Required Skills

  • Candidate must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (High Voltage). A relevant degree obtained from an overseas university, particularly one delivered in English, will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of power plant systems, including boilers, turbines, generators, and control systems.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses in power plant operations and management are advantageous.
  • Highly proficient in English, reflected by IELTS score 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 100 or TOEFL PBT 600.
  • Prepared to work as a team, willing to travel throughout Indonesia particularly in remote area and work in flexi-time hours.
  • Computer literate, willing to work under tight deadlines and adapt to desk-bound and remote working practices
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, dynamic, and proactive.
