The Role

Responsible for ddefining and executing testing strategies according to business needs and acting as technical referent towards more junior roles.

 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and champion Charles Taylor Values by ensuring Agility, Integrity, Care, and Accountability and collaboration.
  • Define and execute testing strategies (functional, regression, integration, smoke, etc.).
  • Identify, document, and track bugs clearly and with prioritization.
  • Automate test cases when necessary or coordinate their automation.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies: refinements, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Propose improvements in testing processes and ensure their adoption.
  • Be a technical reference and mentor for junior/semi-senior testers.
  • Validate environments, data, and acceptance criteria for E2E testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product, and UX to detect deviations early.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of proven experience in QA
  • Solid knowledge of manual testing
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience in API REST Testing
  • Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail, or similar
  • Ability to read logs, analyse errors, and perform functional troubleshooting
  • Critical thinking and a strong focus on product quality
  • Advanced level of English, both spoken and written (excludable)
  • Programming knowledge (Postman, Selenium, Cypress, or similar) (desirable)
  • Automation with modern frameworks (desirable)
  • Background in UX or exploratory testing (desirable)
  • Knowledge of insurance (desirable)
  • Contributions to process and QA KPI’s improvement
