The Role

The E-Billing Specialist will be responsible provide general administrative support to the billing and collections team within Charles Taylor Adjusting International and ensuring E-Billing files are uploaded swiftly to the relevant platforms. The role will involve tasks such as, but not limited to, invoicing support, file management and uploading of invoices to client e-billing platforms. This role will require 2 days of presence in the London office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as point of contact and work independently in processing invoices, actioning rejections/appeals using e-billing platform while updating payment updates using CMA. 
  • Ensure key mandatory data is accurate after cases have been created by the wider operational team and adjusters time has been recorded.
  • Review E-billing email inbox and deal with queries, requests, and emails from clients.
  • Correct data through exhaustive investigation of eCase files and other sources to enable file upload meets vendor requirements.
  • E-Billing file upload to vendor platforms and maintenance of Charles Taylor master accounts.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships, both internally and externally at all levels i.e., with adjusters within the business internally.
  • Review and action submitted e-billing invoices, follow up and communicate on the status with external portal handlers.
  • Provide consistent and accurate reporting to various stakeholders across Adjusting International on key matters.
  • Carry out Ad Hoc duties and tasks that are allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.

Required Skills

  • Some experience and working knowledge of Invoicing/Billing ideally within a financial services organisation.
  • Experience in E-Billing (advantageous).
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.
  • Personable with an ability to build strong relationships with people, both internally and externally.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude who is also comfortable working independently without supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a good telephone manner.
  • Accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
  • Results orientated individual who takes pride in the performance of the team and delivering high quality outcomes.
