Monday to Friday 08.00 to 17.30

Saturday (one in four) 08.30 to 13.30

At Carbase, we’re hiring an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our busy Weston Autocentre.

This isn’t just another workshop role—you’ll have real autonomy to run the operation, lead your team, and drive performance in one of the South West’s largest independent automotive groups..

You will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, managing technician productivity, coordinating parts and service planning, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering a seamless experience for both customers and colleagues.

What you’ll be doing:

· Leading and developing a team of technicians

· Managing workshop capacity, workflow, and output

· Driving efficiency using systems like EDynamix

· Overseeing WIP, job flow, and vehicle prep priorities

· Ensuring high standards in quality, compliance, and H&S

· Working closely with front-of-house to deliver a seamless customer experience

· Proven experience in a Workshop Manager / Controller / Supervisor role

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Commercial mindset with a focus on productivity

· Confident using workshop systems and digital tools

· Someone who takes ownership and drives standards
