Are you organised, detail-driven, and looking to put your automotive knowledge to good use?


We are on the lookout for a proactive Parts Person to join our busy auto repair site. Working as part of a small, supportive team, you will play a key role in keeping our workshop running smoothly – from managing deliveries and stock to supporting technicians with the parts they need. No two days are the same, and your contribution will help ensure every vehicle is repaired efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities:

  • Parts and Tyre Delivery Management: receive and sort all incoming deliveries, ensuring that they are accurately recorded and organised by registration number
  • Workshop Preparation: once cars are ready, move them to the workshop for repair. Assisting technicians with any initial parts enquiries.
  • Liaison with External Parts Teams: communicate with external suppliers and parts teams for any additional parts needed for vehicle repairs as necessary
  • Parts Management: carefully monitor and organise any unused parts to ensure they are returned to the correct suppliers in a timely manner
  • Stock Control:  Perform weekly stock checks on consumables to ensure that inventory levels are sufficient

Person Specification:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively track and manage orders and deliveries to ensure smooth operations
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Physically capable of occasional lifting or moving of stock
  • Comfortable working in both workshop and office environments
  • Strong communication skills including speaking reading and writing to communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive parts and vehicles, essential for accurate sourcing and ensuring the right parts are available for repairs
  • A full valid driving licence is required
