Hours:                  32 hours per week

We’re looking for a proactive Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. You’ll play a key role in keeping our purchase ledger accurate and up to date while working with colleagues and suppliers to resolve queries.

What you’ll be doing

  • Processing invoices accurately into our DMS system
  • Acting as the first point of contact for purchase ledger queries
  • Reconciling supplier statements and requesting missing invoices
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies with budget holders
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Completing monthly and year-end reconciliations
  • Sending remittance advices to suppliers
  • Managing admin tasks including filing invoices, credit notes, and BACS documentation

🙌 What we’re looking for

  • GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
  • Previous purchase ledger/accounts payable experience
  • Knowledge of invoice processing and reconciliations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem-solving mindset with initiative
  • Organised and efficient with time management skills
  • Self-starter who thrives on challenges
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident using Excel and other MS Office applications
