Location: Somerset, Lympsham

Salary: £22,100 to £27,000

The normal working hours are 42.25 hours per week, worked over 5 days: 3 weekdays and both Saturday and Sunday on one fixed shift pattern.

We’re looking for a friendly, detail-focused Collections and Handover Agent to join our Lympsham team. Working closely with our experienced Sales Consultants, you'll ensure a seamless, professional handover experience as customers complete their vehicle purchase.

This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working with people, and wants to play a key role in ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality, reliable handover experience for every customer, ensuring they leave fully satisfied.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to manage and prepare customer collection appointments.
  • Carry out thorough vehicle handover checks – making sure all documents are accurate, present, and ready for the customer.
  • Flag and report any issues quickly and effectively to the relevant team.
  • Set up and verify documentation, ensuring accuracy in customer records.
  • Support general administration tasks related to vehicle dispatch, pre-delivery inspection (PDI), and handover.

Person Specification:

  • Full UK driving licence is required.
  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, especially for administrative work and documentation.
  • Confident communicator with great interpersonal skills – both written and verbal.
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks independently.
  • Proactive, flexible, and willing to help colleagues where needed.
  • Good IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
