We have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Buyer to join our growing team.

As a Digital Buyer you will be responsible for leading the sourcing of high-quality vehicles, while driving the continuous digital enhancement of our purchasing processes. You will be a key member of the team and play a vital role in supporting the sourcing of over 1000 cars per month.

Key responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and bid on vehicles from pre-selected auction lists provided by the team.
  • Continuously seek out opportunities to improve and enhance our vehicle purchasing model using digital tools and platforms, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all bids on the pre-selected list are completed within the set timeframe, demonstrating urgency.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements within our purchasing model.
  • Submit a high volume of bids from the pre-selected auction list, working efficiently with the procurement team.
  • Maintain a structured and organised approach with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrate a professional, respectful, inclusive, and collaborative approach as a key member of our purchasing team

Person Specification:

  • A solid understanding of used car appraisals, with a keen eye for detail
  • The ability to leverage digital platforms to continuously improve and enhance the buying process
  • Experience using google sheets and online bidding platforms would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
  • Excellent communication skills to aid effective interactions with buyers and sellers
  • Proven track record of working within specific budget constraints
  • Motivated to work independently and to take responsibility for deadlines
