Our client, a leading international insurance brokerage firm, is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Property Insurance Broker to join its growing Paris office.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven broker with a strong track record of producing and placing property business. The role offers significant autonomy, access to major international markets, and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued expansion of the firm's Property Practice across France and wider Europe.

For the right individual, there is a genuine long-term opportunity to build a team, develop a broader regional practice, and take on significant leadership responsibilities as the business continues to grow.

The Role

As a Senior Property Broker, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with mid-market, large corporate, and multinational clients across a range of industries. Leveraging your market expertise and network, you will structure and place complex property insurance programmes while providing strategic advice on risk transfer solutions.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop business both within France and internationally, working closely with colleagues across Europe to support multinational placements and cross-border opportunities.

This role would suit either an established producer looking for a stronger platform or a senior servicing broker with a demonstrable ability to generate business and develop long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, risk managers, investors, and key industry stakeholders.
• Generate new business opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the Property Practice.
• Structure, negotiate, and place complex property insurance programmes with domestic and international markets.
• Advise clients on insurance strategy, programme design, and risk management solutions.
• Manage large and multinational property placements, including portfolios spanning multiple jurisdictions.
• Negotiate policy terms, coverage enhancements, and pricing with insurers.
• Work closely with international teams on global and European programmes.
• Identify opportunities to expand the firm's presence across France and wider European markets.
• Contribute to the development of the Property Practice and support future team growth and leadership initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Significant experience within Property Insurance Broking.
• Proven track record of producing and/or placing property insurance business.
• Strong relationships with insurers operating within the French and international property markets.
• Experience handling complex corporate property programmes.
• Strong understanding of property risks across sectors such as real estate, manufacturing, industrial, retail, infrastructure, logistics, or multinational corporations.
• Commercially minded with strong business development skills.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to contribute to the growth of a leading practice.
• Fluent French and English.
