London, (Hybrid Working)
Part-Time (0.6–0.8 FTE)
Fixed-Term Contract until May 2027
Competitive Salary + Discretionary Bonus

We're looking for an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join a collaborative HR Reward team and take ownership of payroll, benefits and pension administration across UK and Jersey entities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with stakeholder engagement, vendor management and continuous improvement in a dynamic and people-focused environment.

The Role

As the subject matter expert for payroll and benefits, you will:

  • Manage and reconcile monthly payroll submissions across the UK and Jersey, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.
  • Oversee payroll reporting, pensions and benefits administration, partnering with providers including ADP, Mercer Marsh and Aviva.
  • Act as the key contact for employee payroll and benefits queries, providing guidance on parental leave, salary sacrifice arrangements and HMRC-related matters.
  • Manage the flexible benefits platform (Darwin), including annual enrolment, renewals, testing and employee communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with benefits and pension providers, proactively resolving issues and ensuring a seamless employee experience.
  • Support regulatory requirements including visa-related payroll obligations, international assignments and payroll audits.
  • Produce payroll and benefits reporting, management information and data insights while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

About You

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll, ideally using ADP or a similar payroll system.
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and payroll reporting.
  • Experience administering employee benefits and pensions.
  • Experience managing external supplier and provider relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Experience using the Darwin benefits platform.
  • Experience within financial services or another regulated environment.
  • Exposure to international assignments and payroll-related tax considerations.

What's on Offer?

  • A varied role combining payroll, benefits, pensions and vendor management.
  • The opportunity to play a key role within a high-performing Reward team.
  • Flexible, part-time hours (0.6–0.8 FTE).
  • Hybrid working model.
  • Competitive salary and discretionary bonus.
  • Fixed-term contract through to May 2027.

If you're an experienced payroll professional looking for a broad and impactful role within a collaborative HR team, we'd love to hear from you.
