Interim Tech Lead Manager - M&A Integration

A leading UK health-tech organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Tech Lead Manager to support a number of strategic technology integration projects following recent acquisitions.

This role sits within a specialist M&A technology function responsible for integrating newly acquired businesses into the wider group technology landscape. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing existing applications, platforms and technical capabilities before helping design and deliver integration roadmaps into the core business.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at both a strategic and hands-on level. Approximately 60% of the role will involve active software engineering and technical leadership, with the remaining 40% focused on stakeholder engagement, technical planning, integration strategy and delivery oversight.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical integration activities for newly acquired businesses

- Assess existing systems, applications, websites and technology platforms

- Create technical roadmaps and integration plans alongside internal architecture teams

- Manage software development activities across integration programmes

- Work directly with acquired businesses' technology teams to understand current-state environments

- Contribute hands-on development across backend systems

- Drive best practice, technical quality and delivery standards across integration projects

- React (working knowledge required)

The preference is for someone who can attend the Leeds office when required, typically several times per month. Fully remote candidates with the ability to travel occasionally will also be considered.

Immediate start preferred. Expected contract duration 6-9 months.
