Our large Engineering client based in Stockport is looking for a time-served Machine Operator to join their team on a permanent day shift basis.
The salary is circa £34,500 per annum + overtime ( + pension + life insurance.

Duties and responsibilties

-To machine components to customer requirements ensuring minimum levels of machining on parts received by customers.
-Manufacture components from Engineering drawings whilstworking within company quality procedures
-Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working enviroment
-Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications in order to produce components to the correct standards within the estimated -production times.

Job requirements and qualifications

- mininum of 2 year machining experience
- Exepirence of operating cnc Millturns desirable
- Working knowledge ofrelevant tooling applications and machine tool capability inncluding tool feed and speeds required to acheive efficient cycle times
