Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a full-time on-site Electrical Maintenance Engineer for our client, located in Keighley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, preventive maintenance activities, and troubleshooting electrical issues. The role also involves maintenance engineering and electrical engineering tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and facilities.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to support maintenance engineering projects.
• Utilize expertise with Drives & PLCs for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Electrical Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance.
• Proficiency with Drives & PLCs.
• Experience in Maintenance Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electricity and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in the plastics industry is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
