Weekend FLT Counterbalance Drivers – Rotherham

Saturday & Sunday | 12-Hour Shifts | £18.15 per hour

Aqumen Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Weekend FLT Counterbalance Drivers for a well-established manufacturing business based in Rotherham.

We currently have two weekend opportunities available:

• 1 x Weekend Day Shift FLT Driver 6am - 6pm 
• 1 x Weekend Night Shift FLT Driver 
• Saturday and Sunday
• 12-hour shifts
• £18.15 per hour

This is a great opportunity for an experienced FLT Driver looking for consistent weekend work within a busy manufacturing and yard environment.

The Role

Working as part of the site operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products and materials across the site.

The role is similar to a Production Support Operator (PSO) position, with a strong focus on FLT operation, yard movements and supporting the smooth flow of products from production into storage and dispatch areas.

Your duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Loading and unloading products and materials
• Moving finished products into the yard and designated storage areas
• Transporting products safely around the site
• Supporting the movement of stock between production and yard areas
• Ensuring products are stored safely and correctly
• Working safely around other FLTs, vehicles and site personnel
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider production and yard operation where required
• Keeping working areas safe, clean and organised

What We Are Looking For

To be considered for this position, you must hold a valid, accredited Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have previous Counterbalance FLT experience
• Have worked within a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution or yard environment
• Are confident loading, unloading and moving products safely
• Have a good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Are comfortable working 12-hour shifts
• Can commit to working every Saturday and Sunday
• Are reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a busy team
• Are comfortable working across both indoor and outdoor yard environments

Pay & Hours

Pay Rate: £18.15 per hour
Days: Saturday and Sunday
Shift Length: 12 hours per shift
