Electrician (17th / 18th Edition Qualified) – Nationwide Hospital Projects

Our client is seeking experienced and professional Electricians to join a growing team delivering electrical installation projects within hospitals across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated electrician looking for long-term career progression into site supervision and project management within a specialist healthcare environment.

The Role

You will work on electrical projects within hospitals nationwide, supporting the delivery of refurbishment and installation works on contracts valued up to £2 million.

The role involves working away from home approximately 90% of the time. All accommodation and food expenses are fully paid for by the company.

After a successful 6-month period, the successful candidate will receive training to become a Site Supervisor, taking responsibility for managing subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, professionally, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical installation and maintenance works within hospital environments
• Working professionally and respectfully within live healthcare settings
• Liaising with hospital staff and customers in a courteous manner
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with regulations
• Supervising subcontractors following progression into the Site Supervisor role
• Supporting the successful delivery of projects valued up to £2 million

Requirements

• 17th or 18th Edition qualified electrician
• Previous commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Willingness to work away from home nationwide
• Professional attitude and ability to work respectfully in sensitive environments
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Applicants must either hold a valid DBS check or be willing to undergo DBS clearance
