Electrical Control Panel Wirer – Normanton
💰 £13.75 - £14.75 per hour (DOE)

Our client is a long-established leader in the electrical control systems industry. With decades of expertise and a reputation for excellence, they design and build bespoke control panels for a diverse range of clients—from blue-chip giants to specialist SMEs.

Due to continued growth, they're on the lookout for an experienced Control Panel Wirer to join their close-knit, high-performing production team.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Independently building and wiring low-voltage control panels

  • Reading and working from schematic wiring diagrams

  • Sizing, cutting and crimping cables to high standards

  • Spotting and resolving production issues

  • Keeping clear and accurate production records

⭐ What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Experience wiring electrical control panels

  • Confident working from schematic diagrams

  • Strong cable prep and panel build skills

  • Good problem-solving on the shop floor

  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused

Desirable:

  • Experience with point-to-point testing

  • On-site modification and repair work

  • ECS or CSCS card (a plus, not essential)

👤 The Ideal Candidate:

  • Takes pride in their work and attention to detail

  • Works well independently and hits deadlines

  • A proactive problem-solver

  • Has a team mindset with good communication

🕑 Working Hours:

  • Mon to Thurs: 06:30 – 15:30 (30-min lunch + 10-min break)

  • Friday: 07:00 – 12:00 (10-min break)
