The Marketing team are looking for an energetic, detail-orientated, creative, and passionate Channel Co-Ordinator to join the PR and B2B Market team to manage and support market facing consortia initiatives, key trade communications, support marketing platform partnerships,  supporting PR activations and the broader marketing and sales teams. We are a dedicated bunch who are constantly looking at ways to elevate our brand purpose of leaving our world a better place than we found it, through the delivery of extraordinary guest experiences.

The individual who holds this role, will have a demonstrated ability to remain calm and logical in a fast paced, high pressured and complex business and be able to switch hats and juggle seamlessly between PR media facing and B2B sales facing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the PR managers on all brand partnerships
  • Support the PR Managers with key individual and groups press trips
  • Key role in supporting and facilitating the marketing platform partnerships ie: Beyond Green, Regenerative Travel, Afar and other….
  • Manage and drive the B2B communications strategy – targeted comms to the trade audience but maintain the plug into the overall marketing communications plan
  • Incorporate new trends, methods of digital and direct marketing that would influence, acquire and create sales enquiries both in trade and direct consumer markets.
  • Analysis and reporting of key trade communications
  • Provide guidance and input so that all marketing communication initiatives contributes to the brand equity
  • Support and facilitate consortium market strategy annually across all key consortia markets working closely with the relevant PR managers to build key industry relationships and supporting the sales teams to success
  • Manage and drive strategically the back-end administration of all consortia across the group ie: Virtuoso, Ensemble, Signature
  • May be required to support promotional events such as press conferences, open days and sales roadshows.
  • Support and draft the &Beyond weekly social media impact posts and share in advance key stories with PR managers to pitch for in-market coverage
  • Support Impact Brand Manager with the driving of key impact campaigns (ie: Wildlife Ranger Challenge, Running Wild etc..)
  • Support key award submissions for awards globally – including key impact awards
  • Maintain the &Beyond awards list
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends in global markets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the following internal teams:
    • B2B Sales team and International Sales reps
    • PR Managers
    • Brand Managers
    • Designers
    • Reservations
    • Lodge teams
    • Conservation teams
  • Work with the PR Managers to support the following:
    • Tradeshow stands, gifts & uniforms
    • Sales events and or roadshows
    • Sales trip requirements
    • Sales presentations

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Preferably experience in marketing with a strong track record in Direct Marketing essential and/or Customer Relationship Management
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to manage and co-ordinate across both Internal and external suppliers, with a deadline driven approach.
  • Digital Platforms understanding, with insight to measurement and analytics.
  • Demonstrate clear marketing understanding of the industry and best practices.
  • Displays financial literacy and business acumen.
  • Demonstrates leadership and confidence in teamwork, problem solving, results driven, interpersonal skills (written, oral, listening and influencing others)
  • Able to operate in a pressurised environment with key understanding of “speed to market”
  • Superlative knowledge of &Beyond’s geographies of operation and range of products.

PERSONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Marketing Concepts: Working knowledge of terminology used and best practices in the marketing environment.
  • Marketing process: working knowledge of standard marketing process and procedures. Ability to conduct analysis of a product (or business area) and develop suitable marketing plans.
  • Capable of reviewing the effectiveness of a campaign.
  • Planning, organising, and co-ordinating: ability to anticipate and predict internal and external changes, trends and influences in order to effectively allocate resources and implement appropriate initiatives.
  • Prioritisation: Ability to establish priorities that address the details and timelines that are required to achieve the attended results.
  • Project Management: Ability to organise task to reach a project goal, to set priorities to determine resources and requirements and to determine the necessary sequence of activities needed to achieve goals.
  • Decision making: Ability to make sound decisions within own area of responsibility.

OTHER

  • Computer competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
