This is a great opportunity for an experienced Registered General Nurse to join our Complex Care at home team. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse who is passionate & compassionate about delivering quality care to enable people to live the best life possible in the comfort of their own home.

You will be joining Alcedo Care at a great time in its development as it expands its complex care & clinical services across the Northwest of the UK. We will consider applications for full or part time.

**Please note this is a regional role meaning frequent travel will be required between branches across the North West.**

The role will involve: (but is not limited to)

  • Conduct clinical assessments with new clients and creating bespoke care plans alongside our registered managers
  • Supporting in the safe mobilisation of POC out with the community
  • Provide practical & theory training in clinical areas for support staff to POC for our clients.
  • Providing support staff with clinical signed off competencies in areas such as clinical Intervention & Competencies - PEG, Tracheostomy, Ventilation
  • Review and monitor care packages on to ensure they adhere to Alcedo Care & CQC regulatory standards ie regular MAR auditing & reporting
  • Work collaboratively with clients, family, other professionals and interested parties to enhance the quality of care delivered and offer support to our clients, managers and staff as needed
  • Ensuring that our clients are given the right clinical support & advice whilst within our care

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience of community-based work is desirable but not essential
  • Experienced & competent working with spinal injuries, brain injury, tracheostomy care, non-invasive ventilation, cerebral palsy, neurological conditions, cough assist, epilepsy & rescue meds, PEG and other similar complex care competencies.
  • Prepared to travel within the local regions to between clients and branches
  • Good sense of humour, friendly & willingness to share skills & ideas!
