TeacherActive are proud to be working with a Secondary School based in Exeter. We are actively recruiting for an English teacher to support the school with quality and consistent staff, who’re passionate about education and have a good level of experience.

They are looking for an English Teacher who has an in depth knowledge of the curriculum and excellent classroom management. They’re looking to hire for a full-time position with the possibility of a permanent role. The successful English Teacher will be working across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. You will be nurturing the inquisitive minds of your pupils, providing them with the positive foundations in communication skills, written and verbal.

The successful Secondary Teacher will have:

• CACHE LEVEL 2/3 OR 6 months experience
• Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+
• Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
• Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
