TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Primary school in the Blaenau Gwent area who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team. This school strives to motivate all pupils and staff whilst providing a safe and fun learning environment for everyone who attends.

This school needs a Teaching Assistant / TA to work full time, this will be a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right staff member. The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have to help the Teacher plan, prepare for, and manage the classroom whilst keeping the pupils engaged and motivated.

The salary will be paid at a rate of £70 - £80 per day.

The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:

• Passion to help children develop and achieve their full potential
• Ability to follow instruction and strong work ethic
• Ability to help the teacher with their day-to-day tasks
• Positive attitude and genuine desire to inspire the pupils
• Previous experience working with children in the UK is essential.
