Looking for a hands-on Management Accountant role in a fast-growing, forward-thinking manufacturing business?

This is a great opportunity to join a company that has seen strong growth in recent years, with significant investment in facilities and operations. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in supporting the finance function and wider business.

The Role

A varied and practical position, you’ll take ownership of key finance processes while supporting ongoing improvements across systems and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Managing both sales and purchase ledgers, including credit control
• Processing invoices and overseeing supplier payments
• Producing stock valuation reports
• Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Liaising with external providers (e.g. payroll)
• Supporting process and system improvements

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong grounding in accounting fundamentals
• Confident working in a hands-on, SME environment
• High attention to detail with strong Excel skills
• Comfortable dealing with stakeholders across the business
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) is beneficial
