Key Account Clerk – Freight Operations | Wortley, Leeds
Full-time | Permanent | Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

Due to ongoing growth, our client is looking to appoint a Key Account Clerk to join their Operations team in Wortley, Leeds. This is a full-time, permanent role with standard weekday hours—no weekend work required.

As a Key Account Clerk, you will play a vital role in managing freight shipments and delivering excellent service to key clients. This is a great opportunity for a logistics professional with operational expertise and a strong customer service mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process international freight shipments accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate deliveries and liaise with customers to ensure smooth operations
• Interpret and manage key shipping documentation, including commercial invoices and bills of lading
• Arrange and complete customs entries in compliance with regulations
• Work collaboratively within a team to manage workload priorities
• Handle customer quotations and general shipping-related enquiries
• Build strong working relationships with key account contacts

What We’re Looking For:

We're keen to speak to candidates with experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations, especially those who have previously worked in customer-focused roles. A solid understanding of shipping documentation, customs processes, and supply chain coordination is essential.

Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—are a must, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
