Due to increased demand, our supply chain client is looking to appoint a Seafreight Import Operator to join their team based in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, with no weekends required!

As Seafreight Import Operator, a typical day will involve liaising with customers, handling quotations and general enquiries relating to freight shipments.

Seafreight Import Operator duties include:

• Process freight shipments
• Arrange delivery of shipments and co-ordinate with customers
• Understand commercial documents and bill of lading requirements
• Work within a team to manage workloads
• Arrange customs entries
• Customer liaison, dealing with quotations and general enquiries

We're keen to speak to logistics professionals with a good commercial sense and operational know-how of Seafreight import procedures. 

Applicants must have excellent customer service skills and be a proficient communicator; in person, on the phone and in writing.
