Job Purpose:

The Head of Systems Completion is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Contractor Systems Completion team, providing guidance for the delivery of the Comp 3 Scope in Doha. This includes managing the installation of 5 new Jackets, 6 new Topsides Decks, new Pipelines, new Spurlines, Composite Cables, Fibre Optic Cables, new Risers, J Tubes, and executing extensive modifications across 34 platforms. The role ensures all Certification, Acceptance, and Handover activities are executed across fabrication yards, pipelines, offshore platforms, and brownfield scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximize Onshore Commissioning Scope: Reduce offshore requirements for commissioning.
• Systems Completion Deliverables: Manage and ensure systems completion deliverables are included in the EPC packages.
• Process Development & Maintenance: Oversee development and maintenance of systems completion procedures, interfaces, and processes, ensuring compliance with Mechanical Completion, Turnover, and Acceptance standards.
• Leadership and Expertise: Provide leadership to the Systems Completion team, contractors, vendors, and engineering subcontractors to ensure quality, timing, and cost-effective delivery of engineering and execution.
• Engineering Design and Change Management: Manage systems engineering design in alignment with project change management programs.
• Systems Completion Philosophy: Oversee the development of project systems completion philosophy, coordinating with OPCO.
• Integration of EPC RFSUs: Ensure completion integration for various EPC RFSUs to achieve facility RFSUs.
• Coordination of SIMOPS: Oversee internal and external interfaces, including potential simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).
• Lessons Learned Integration: Manage the integration of lessons learned from project execution into the contractor work scope.

   

Job Context & Challenges:

• Oversee a large and complex scope of work involving structural modifications, brownfield and offshore facilities, and integrating fiber optic cables across multiple platforms.
• Manage decommissioning activities, complex brownfield modifications, and production shutdowns within predefined windows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to handle operational challenges at fabrication yards and offshore platforms.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a Completion Manager role with overall responsibility for database preparation and execution.
• Subject Matter Expert in Systemization and Systems Completion Certification Process.
• Proficient in Completions Management Systems, especially Hexagon (preferred) and/or WinPCS.
• Expertise in Project Data Management and integration with Smart Plant Foundation and other engineering data sources.
• Proven experience managing Vendor Data Certification and integrating it into Completions Databases.
