Role Overview

As a Technology Senior Expert - Renewable Assets, you will lead the integration and operational management of renewable energy technologies. Your focus will be on enhancing asset efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and aligning with organizational sustainability goals while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Renewable Asset Management

• Oversee the strategic operation and maintenance of renewable energy assets, ensuring peak performance and extending asset lifecycles.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize renewable energy installations using advanced technologies and sustainable practices.
• Coordinate regular maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to industry standards to avoid downtime and maintain asset health.
• Ensure full compliance with local and international environmental and energy regulations.
• Lead the integration of renewable energy sources into existing energy systems, ensuring seamless operation and efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement and Performance Monitoring

• Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners to promote compliance and business opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate asset performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing reports to assess operational and financial health.
• Identify performance gaps and implement improvements to boost asset output and profitability.

Strategic Contribution

• Cascade divisional strategies into business plans, ensuring alignment and integration across departments.
• Contribute to organizational goals by integrating technology into performance strategies and asset management.

People Management

• Lead and manage a high-performing team, setting clear objectives and providing development opportunities to maximize staff performance.
• Work with technical experts to ensure that the team has the skills required to meet business needs and future challenges.

Budgeting and Financial Planning

• Manage and recommend the departmental budget, ensuring all activities are completed in line with the allocated funds.
• Monitor financial performance, adjusting strategies to meet cost-efficiency and profitability targets.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

• Develop, implement, and oversee the department policies and processes, ensuring all legal, regulatory, and corporate guidelines are met.
• Manage the systems and procedures related to asset management, ensuring consistency and cost-effectiveness across operations.

Continuous Improvement

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, staying ahead of emerging technologies and incorporating them into asset management practices.
• Keep abreast of global standards and adjust operations to maintain compliance and enhance performance.

Reporting

• Ensure that all department reports are prepared accurately and in a timely manner, meeting requirements and standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Sustainable Energy, or a related discipline. Candidates with an MBA will be preferred.
• Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in renewable energy asset management, with a minimum of 4 years in progressively responsible managerial roles.
