Graduate English Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting students in English lessons, including literature, language, and writing skills
• Assisting with lesson planning, classroom activities, and homework support
• Providing 1:1 or small group support to help students improve their academic performance
• Helping students develop critical reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Promoting the development of students’ confidence in English communication and self-expression
• Working closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and achieve learning objectives
• Assisting in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Encouraging a love of English and helping students see the value of literature and language

Graduate English Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

• A 2:1 degree or higher in English, English Literature, or a related field
• A strong passion for the English language and literature
• Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential
• Patience, empathy, and flexibility to meet the diverse needs of students
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly
