Production Support/Warehouse & Despatch

MDE Consultants are recruiting for our prestigious client based in Brislington, our client is a lead in the welding and fabrication industry. We are looking for an engaging, enthusiastic, hardworking team player that is interested progressing and keeping the team on the move.

Location: Brislington, Bristol

Salary: £12.23 per hour (£13.29 including shift allowance)

Job Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Rotating every 2 weeks (includes £40 per week shift allowance)

Shift 1: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Shift 2: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM (Monday -Thursday) & 12:30 PM - 6:30 PM (Friday)

The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for working in the Goods-in, Despatch, and Warehouse departments. This role involves a variety of tasks including:

Loading and unloading materials, equipment, and deliveries

Moving materials to storage areas

Picking, packing, and despatching orders

Booking in stock and ensuring accurate stock control

Keeping the yard organised, tidy, and safe

Light assembly work

Ensuring health & safety measures are followed

This is an active and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a busy environment.

Skills & Requirements

Attention to detail to identify quality/stock issues

Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently

Willingness to work outdoors and carry out manual labour

Basic problem-solving skills

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Positive attitude and proactive approach

Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
