RMS Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Fabricator to join a well-established, family-owned business in Spennymoor. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to work in a supportive environment with a competitive pay rate of up to £15 per hour DOA

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC Press and CNC Plasma machinery
• Using hand tools such as grinders, anvils, etc.
• Assisting with site installations when required
• Working predominantly with structural steel
• Cutting & shaping using saws/plasma cutters CNC.
• Assemble parts which may involve welding, such as riveting, bolting and fastening.
• Design and planning – Interpret blueprints, technical drawings or specifications to design parts/structures.

Requirements:

• Experience in fabrication and metalwork
• Welding experience in TIG and MIG (advantageous but not essential)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
