Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support in subjects such as literacy, numeracy, and general school skills
• Assist in creating engaging and interactive lessons that make learning fun and accessible for all children
• Encourage curiosity and a love for learning by bringing creativity and energy into the classroom
• Support students’ emotional and social growth, helping them build their confidence and independence
• Help teachers with classroom management and create a safe, supportive atmosphere where everyone feels valued
• Build strong, positive relationships with students, making sure they feel confident, supported, and excited to learn
• Celebrate every little victory with the children, motivating them to keep striving and succeeding

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Key Requirements:

• A 2:1 degree or higher in any academic subject
• A genuine love for working with children and a desire to support their growth
• A patient, caring, and approachable nature that helps students feel comfortable and supported
• Creativity and a proactive approach to developing fun, engaging activities for children
• Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, volunteering, or childcare) is a bonus but not essential
• A passion for making a positive impact on children’s academic and personal development
• An eagerness to learn and grow within the education field, with a particular interest in becoming a future teacher
