Management Accountant

Nr Standish (fully office based) 

£38-£40k DOE 

Monday - Friday 8:30am – 5pm  

We are working with this highly reputable business company in the Wigan area, who are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a small team of accounts staff
• Preparing monthly budget and management accounts
• Overseeing cashbook and bank reconciliation processes
• Income and expenditure analysis
• Preparing forecasts – sales / profit / cash flow / balance sheet
• Accurately processing and running monthly payroll for c60 full time employees
• Continuously supporting in the reviewing and implementing of new processes to improve functions within the finance department

The successful candidate:

• CIMA/ACCA/AAT – qualified or part qualified
• Knowledge using Sage 50 / Sage 200 (desired)
• Hold experience in management accounts
• Be able to lead from the top, supporting lower-level staff
• Have strong attention to detail
