The role

As Marketing Coordinator, you’ll support the planning and delivery of campaigns that drive student recruitment and showcase our strengths to a wide range of audiences.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to create high-quality content, deliver engaging communications, and ensure our messaging is on brand, effective, and inclusive.

Whether it’s planning a campaign, writing compelling copy, supporting internal comms or helping to run an Open Event, you’ll be at the heart of a collaborative team that’s shaping how Blackburn College connects with its community.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in creating and managing engaging content in a professional context.
• Experience supporting marketing campaigns across digital and print.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
• A keen eye for detail and the drive to deliver consistently high-quality work.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills – with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Brilliant writing and editing skills, with a flair for engaging different audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate campaign performance and provide recommendations.
• A collaborative, flexible attitude and a willingness to support College events (including occasional evenings or weekends).
• A commitment to inclusive practice, safeguarding, and ongoing professional development.
