Lecturer in Health and Social Care (Maternity Cover x 2 Posts) £27,185 - £41,014 per annum gross, pro rata Contractual hours 22.2 Temporary from late August 2025 until 30 June 2026 or the return of the postholders, whichever is sooner. The Role As a lecturer you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to the growth and development of the Health and Social Care programmes, including teaching vocational and technical qualifications from level one to level three. This includes focusing on retention, achievement and student success alongside pastoral support, curriculum design/development and ensuring a high standard of quality provision is offered. You will be invested in developing knowledge skills and behaviours to equip students to begin work within the health and social care sector. You should have the desire to maintain your sector knowledge through CPD opportunities and be prepared to attend back to industry days in order to support this. What are we looking for You should have a relevant Level 3 or above qualification and a recognised teaching qualification (or be currently working towards). You will have experience of teaching Health and Social Care vocational and technical qualifications from level one to three. You should also have experience of successfully tracking learners in relation to progress and attendance and supporting learners to achieve their qualification with high grades.
