You will play a crucial role in the aluminium and stainless-steel cutting and processing operations. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with team members to optimise warehousing efficiency to meet daily deadlines.

Our client is a large UK based organisation who supply a large range of customers across a varied supply chain, they deliver to the whole of the UK and Ireland from their Shrewsbury Headquarters with additional locations in. You will be working from our Shrewsbury site as part of an experienced warehouse team, cutting and preparing materials to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking material to works orders
• Booking goods in and out using ERP computer system
• Wrapping and Labelling orders
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Active Participation in 5S Programme
• Active Participation in regular stock cycle count.
• Inspect finished cuts for defects, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurements.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in an industrial setting.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including early mornings and late evenings,
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials
• Experience of operating Counter Balance and Reach Fork Lift Trucks

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 Years in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail
• Experience in computerised ERP systems
• Counterbalance / Multi-Directional Forklift experience
• Effective verbal and written communication
