Locum Prison Nurse (RGN) role available in Foston, Derbyshire!

Pay Rate: £32.50 - £35.00 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract: Locum and Ongoing

Hours: Full-time

General Duties:

• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions
• Undertake medication rounds
• Dispense controlled medication
• Attend emergency response situations
• Assess patients
• Undertake reception screening
• Offer clinics such as triage, long-term conditions, suturing, wound care, ear irrigation, and sexual health

Requirements of the Prison Nurse:

• Must be registered on the NMC and must have a relevant qualification in nursing
• Prison clearance and experience is ideal but not essential
